The New Skill ‘Switch’

There is something about learning a new skill.  When beginning there is no way to anticipate the trips, stumbles, and hang-ups that will undoubtedly find their way to the path in front of you. It is like climbing a flight of mis-shaped stairs in the dark all the while looking for the light switch. The climb is slow, you make many mis-steps and spend much time traveling down what ultimately become dead ends.

The funny thing is once you find that ‘switch’ every obstacle that caused delay the first time around simply ceases to exist.  Investing the time to find the necessary ‘switches’ in your job, industry, or area of expertise  (especially the one or two you have been avoiding) could pay off more than you could possibly know.

What is the one ‘switch’ you have been avoiding? How can we help help you find it?
