Re-thinking 'think (here)': From One Paragraph to One Sentence

Jason Markow Today, after 4 months and over 70 posts, I can finally answer a question that has been eating away at me since the beginning: What, exactly is this site? Or put another way: What is Tt(h)B's sentence?
Why 'one sentence'? Well, for a number of reasons (reasons that I will reveal this week). However, the tipping point materialized a couple months ago while watching the first 72 seconds of this video promoting Dan Pink's latest book Drive (the rest of the video is good, but it does not really apply to this post):
When I first watched this video, I disagreed... 100%. I hated it. I thought it was stupid... I was in denial. I was in denial because when I created Tt(h)B I was only able to cut it down to that 'muddled paragraph' the video mentions. I knew I was passionate. Others could see that I was passionate. I knew (in general) the things I was passionate about, but 'one sentence'? I just couldn't do it.
What is Tt(h)B's sentence?
If I were to ask this (utterly simple) question to you or any of your fellow t(h)inkers, whether you have been long-time readers (relatively speaking of course), active commenters and participants, or lurkers (yeah... I'm talking to you Mr. Swenson!) the answers would be all over the charts, and (unintentionally, but ultimately) not aligned with my intentions.
And then, as unexpectedly and cliche as it sounds, it hit me. The sentence I have been working towards. Tt(h)B's sentence. The rush of memories, examples, and all the pieces that make up my passion, my drive, and everything else that make up this one sentence hit me with unbelievable force. The site will be more focused, more passionate, and more engaging than ever before.
This week is a reflection of, a focus on, and a launch pad for the sentence that defines Tt(h)B.
So... what's the sentence? Head on over to the about page and find out. Once you do, I ask you (even the lurkers) to come back here, leave a comment with your thoughts. This is going to be an exciting week on Tt(h)B, and, if you stick around, I will help you have one too.
t(h)ink on.
