Growing Pains:

Right before college the search for a practical application of my passion brought me to architecture.  I remember thinking "I've found it! This is where I can place my passion This is where I can use my energy"   As an architect, I could once again bring physical reality to ideas

I was a step closer, but (with help this time) I understood that I would never be happy, successful, or able to live out my passion as just an architect.   I tried to force it, but I realized that the process, the repetition, day in day out... would kill me.  I didn't just want to make blueprints, I needed variety. I wanted to create.

In college I dove into marketing.  I thought that the 'battle of products' was what I was passionate about, but I was wrong.  One line stands out to me that was a pivotal moment in my life.  I had a marketing instructor say "Marketing is a battle of perceptions, not products".

I knew then and there it was not just the 'perception' I wanted to form and improve, but the product as well.  Marketing had brought me to the final leg in my journey to realize that my passion was, above everything else: design.

Each step in this journey forged a different component of my talent to design.  Tomorrow, on Tt(h)B all the elements mentioned over the past two days will be recapped, summarized, and positioned for the future of the site.
