Design's power runs far deeper than aesthetics... If you are mapping out a sales strategy, or streamlining a manufacturing operation, or crafting a new system for innovating you are engaged in the practice of design.

The quote above captures the direction this site is shifting to perfection. From the creation of Tt(h)B's sentence, to a brief look at the impact 'design' played in the past, last week here on Tt(h)B was monumental.
The momentum only increases this week. Now that the past is out of the way, it is time to get down to business and answer some questions many of you have been asking like:
- What exactly is Tt(h)B's definition of design?
- What the hell does design have to do with me?
- Is there always a solution in design?
Over the next few days, a new and complete definition of 'design' will emerge (in relation to business) through two posts, namely: "Design is..." and "Design is not..."
The future of Tt(h)B will bring posts that focus more on good and bad business elements, processes, and programs. The good will serve as a foundation for the grand idea that good design is one of the most essential components of any business. The bad will serve as case studies with Tt(h)B’s open call for a resolution with suggestions.
Beyond case studies and examples, this site is a place where concepts are introduced, discussed, and shared openly. Every technique, every tool, every strategy for increasing and improving business will tie into the statement in bold above. Things are changing, radically. It is time to use design; to transcend it, to embrace it, and to adapt to it. Are you ready?
t(h)ink on.
