Here’s to the lazy, the ‘yeah-but’s, the nay-sayers, the pessimists, and the negative ones. Here’s to those who ‘play it safe’, who are ‘comfortable’, and who think chasing your passion is just plain crazy.

The truth is, for those of us willing to take the risk and chase our dreams, you make it that much easier for us to achieve them. You offer us one less hurdle, one less “I can do it better”, and one less creative mind that just might stumble onto something before we do.

You see, the biggest secret of them all is that we don’t know any more than you do. But by choosing the safe and easy road  you give us time. Time to make our road safer and easier, time to try, time to fail, time to learn, and time to succeed.

So go on, carve out that ‘comfortable’, ‘safe’, and ‘reliable’ existence. Take the hand you are dealt in the game of life, fold, cash in the chips labeled ‘try’, and watch the future unfold from the ‘middle management’ bleachers of tomorrow.
